Michael Caspar
CEO
An avid home vegetable gardener and budding hunting enthusiast, Michael has a passion for hobbies that embody a do-it-yourself approach to food and food processing. Michael enjoys everything from home brewing beer to making homemade jerky. This passion, coupled with his entrepreneurial spirit, is what makes him a perfect fit for Weston Products.
Before joining Weston products, Michael founded EcoFuture, LLC, whose mission is to raise awareness of climate change related issues and influence lifestyle changes through the sale of energy efficient products. Michael developed the initial product line: a brand of compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) to sell primarily through the Company’s web site, TheBulb.com.
Michael is also the former co-founder and CTO of GolfServ, a web-based golf content and services provider and the owner/operator of the Golf.com web site. He spent eight years building Golf.com into one of the most highly trafficked golf web sites on the Internet (over 1 million visitors and over 5 million page views per month). After a very successful independent run, the Company was sold to GOLF Magazine in 2006. |
Jason Berry
COO
Growing up in Alabama, Jason has been around hunting most of his life. However, it took his recent exposure to the sport through his involvement with Weston Products to kindle the passion that he found was already there.
Before joining Weston Products, Jason was employed by Aleris International as a black belt in the Six Sigma group. At Aleris, Jason was responsible for managing projects in the field focused on process improvement resulting in cost savings of over $1 million a year.
Before Aleris, Jason previously worked for Command Alkon, a software supplier of operating systems for some of the largest concrete, aggregate and asphalt producers in the world. He independently worked with company staff to install, test and put into operation the new system in plants across the country under many adverse conditions and without interrupting production. |
Michael Naughton CPA
CFO
Michael joined Weston Products in 2007 and is responsible for all finance and accounting functions of the company. Before joining Weston Products, Michael was the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Holcomb’s Education Resource. In addition, he held positions in a number of manufacturing and distribution firms in both financial and operating roles, in turn-around situations.
